My name is Susanna Hailstone Walker
I am fully registered with both the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which means I strictly adhere to their professional codes of ethics. You can find out more about these codes at www.bpc.org.uk and www.bacp.co.uk.
I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, have regular clinical supervision and believe in the importance of enhancing my training and knowledge base.
If you think that I might be able to help, please do get in touch with me. We would start with an introductory telephone or online conversation, which is free of charge, before meeting – either in person or online – for a full initial consultation. The idea here would be to talk about what has brought you to therapy, begin to think about what psychotherapy might be like for you, and to decide how we might work together. This could be on a focused short-term or on a longer-term basis depending on your needs and means.
I believe in inclusivity wherever possible in mental health, but private therapy is an investment. I operate a sliding scale fee depending on income, with fees typically between £80-£100 per session. If you are looking at a very low cost service, you might want to ask your GP for a referral to IAPT services, or contact www.wpf.org, www.10windsorwalk.org.uk, www.wimbledonguild.co.uk and www.balhamcommunitycentre.com.
